I am currently serving as the vice president of the board of directors for Sto-Rox Neighborhood Health Council.  I joined the organization in 2018 through my graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, but I am no stranger to the McKees Rocks area – in fact, my family has roots in the neighborhood going back to my great-grandparents, who settled here when they came to the United States. I am a proud alumnus of both Pitt and John Carroll University, but prior to returning to my hometown of Pittsburgh in 2017, I spent three years doing service work in community engagement, education, and health care in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where I met my beautiful wife, Sofia. I currently work as the Communications Manager at the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.
